On a glorious afternoon on Thursday we played West Runton, the opening match of the season at home.. West Runton put out 3 good teams and the match was played in a very friendly atmosphere throughout, with some good banter. David Howorth's team, with Linda Graham and Andrew Tunwell, finished clear winners, whilst David Farrels team, with Ady Smith and Sylvia Hughes lost out. The team captained by John Lock, with Jean Howorth and myself, were 1 down coming into the last end and the skip managed to secure a score of 2 for a rink and overall team win.
